Welcome to St John’s Wood Academy

St John's Wood Academy joined the Adelaide Academy Trust in  September, 2016.

The Trust is a multi-academy trust dedicated to improving the educational experiences of young people and preparing them to be full and active citizens of society.

The trust is made up of three special schools; Adelaide School, Finch Woods Academy and St John's Wood Academy.

As a special school, St John's Wood Academy is a school for pupils ranging from 11 to 16 years of age who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. 

The school officially opened in 1997 as a local authority maintained special school and has over time developed and increased it's numbers and now provides a venue for the Adelaide Hub which provides  primary education for special needs pupils age ranging from 7 to 11. 

St John's Wood Academy continues to develop and strives for success with the aim to enable pupils to have a positive experience of education in a safe learning  environment .

The school has an outdoor, all weather sports area  and large sports hall which can be used by the community via a booking system.  Should you wish to book the sports hall please contact the school on 01625 383045.
